The Intimus Pro 60 CC4 cross cut shredder requires no more space than its CC3 cousin, but provides an added level of security for those materials that need to be paid a bit more attention. As a level 4 security shredder, the 60CC4 takes up to 9 sheets of paper at a time, and is able to shred documents, paper clips, staples, credit cards, CDs/DVDs, and floppy disks down to 5/64" x 19/32" particles. This model also incorporates numerous advanced technologies, such as "i-control," a central control system pad that monitors the machine and alerts the user of any functional problems regarding the bin, internal temperature, oiling requirements, etc. "EcoLogic" allows the user to program the shredder to shut down all power consumption after a certain amount of idle time. "Silentec" refers to built-in technology that allows whisper-quiet operation. "DLS" (Dynamic Load Sensor) uses green, yellow, and red lights to signal that the volume of material being shredded is either safe, approaching dangerous, or has become dangerous, respectively. Finally, the "2 x 2" feature separates recyclable particles from non-recyclable particles, making environmentally-friendly disposal of waste an easy, intuitive option.
