Description of the Intimus Pro 45 Level 3 Cross Cut Shredder
The Intimus Pro 45 CC3 cross cut shredder is a fully automatic, self-monitoring office shredder that can process documents, staples, paper clips, credit cards, CDs/DVDs, and floppy disks into 5/32" x 1-13/32" particles. This model can process up to 18 sheets at once, features a cutting speed of 16 ft/min, and weighs a modest 70.5 lbs. All advanced technology features newly introduced are built into this model. The single, central "i-control" pad allows for the user to control and monitor all functions and aspects of the machine in one place; backlit icons light up when the machine detects a problem with paper jams, the bin door, bin capacity, internal temperature, and oiling. The "EcoLogic" technological feature allows the user to command this model to enter sleep mode after a certain period of inactivity, reducing power consumption to zero instead of simply cutting power consumption by a percentage. "Silentec" features built-in sound dampening technology to prevent operation noise from emitting uninhibited from the machine and disrupting the work environment. "DLS" (Dynamic Load Sensor) will flash a green, yellow, or red light as paper is fed in, to reflect how close to functioning capacity the volume of paper entered is. Green light signals that the volume of paper is appropriate; yellow light signals that the paper is approaching a dangerous volume; and red light indicates that the volume of paper is beyond the capability of the machine, to which the user may respond by pressing the "reverse" button on the i-control pad to retrieve the paper before damage can be done. FInally, the "2x2" feature separates paper particles from non-paper particles without any hassle on the user's part, and allows use of a single slot for all materials and subsequent separation of materials into recyclable and non-recyclable piles. This host of advanced technological implementations, combined with mounted rollers for easy mobility and dust-free operation, make the 45 CC3 model ideal for meeting the shredding needs of any office setting.
