Description of the Intimus Power 16.87 (1/2in. X 2in.) Cross Cut Shredder Baler

The Intimus Power 16.87 (1/2" x 2") industrial cross cut shredder baler system operates your shredder and baler in tandem and automatically compresses the residue from your shredder into compact, easily-disposable bales. The 16.87CC can shred up to 420 sheets at a time at 50 ft/min, and can also shred staples, paper clips, credit cards, CDs/DVDs, floppy disks, and binders. This Martin Yale shredder baler system is also safe to use, and features a key switch for the main power, bale stabilization straps, a safety switch for the press feed flap and ejector opening, a safety interlock at the bale ejection flap, and an emergency stop bar. Auto-reverse is also built into this model, so that the machine will detect jams and reverse the flow of material to remedy a jam. The 1687 CC is mounted on casters for total mobility, and produces 30” x 24” x 22” bales that are ejected directly into plastic bags for simple, convenient, and dust free removal and storage.
